ABOUT YOGA KONCEPTS
Hello! My name is Michelle Payne, founder of Yoga Koncepts. I am a yoga teacher and a yogi and consider myself a student too, because after all, learning is life-long!
A bit about me… I grew up in Etobicoke with summers in Orangeville. I lived my adult life in Mississauga, and that is where I discovered yoga in 2012 at the Power Yoga Canada studio. I firmly believe that what you need most in life will present itself to you, and that is what yoga did for me. I really connected to yoga. After moving to Alliston in 2017, I settled in at the studio in town. Happy to be back on my mat, and after a few months, I realized that leading others in yoga was a serious interest for me. I knew I could do it, so I signed up for yoga teacher training and completed my 200 hour YTT at the studio. In 2020, I completed my 300 hour YTT thru GoYoga. So now I am a CYA 500 hour YTT certified teacher!! I also completed the Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher Course. Baptiste yoga is to awaken and empower all human beings to live life fully and in potentia—to discover one’s full potential.
While teaching at the studio in town, I was inspired by the owner to share my passion for teaching, to embrace this opportunity to grow and to help you discover your potential. And that is how Yoga Koncepts came to be! I am truly honoured each day to lead class and share yoga with everyone who comes thru my door. I hope to see you on your mat, where we will breathe, flow and laugh… a lot!!

I am personally committed to making your Yoga experience with me easy and fun.
All the classes are designed to produce a brand new experience of yoga for you every time you step on your mat.
